Helping to control Allergies such as sneezing, wheezing, runny eyes, asthma……..
Uncomfortable conditions resulting from allergic reactions such as sneezing, runny eyes, wheezing and skin rashes are becoming more prevalent and distressing, particularly amongst our children. Unfortunately, because these signs are often very common, many of us continue to live with the symptoms for quite some time before they are recognised as being an allergic response to allergens (often within the home)
The increase in the reported number of allergy sufferers in the UK has been attributed to many things, but is highlighted by external pollution, which is ultimately carried into our home environment. With this in mind, the importance of cleaning for health has been globally recognised. This helps to establish an allergy-friendly environment and can be seen as the first step in avoiding common allergens and controlling allergies within the home.
Described by the British Allergy Foundation as the most chronic, common childhood medical condition, Asthma is a typical symptom of allergen response, together with eczema, rhinitis, sore eyes etc.
Regular, deep cleaning of carpets, upholstery and soft furnishings will significantly reduce allergens in the home such as dust-mite and mould fungi, thereby limiting the effect on the sufferer.
Alongside our Nuva Protection we also include a hypo-allergenic treatment: Actifresh 'Healthy Home Protection.

The house dust-mite and its excrement are one of the most widespread causes of allergies. Homes and offices with their improved insulation and controlled temperatures have become excellent breeding grounds for these creatures. Human skin scales and dust (found in abundance where we live) are the main food source for these dust-mites. Health Protection contains products that help to control the otherwise dramatic increase in dust-mite population all around us; so checking the build-up of allergens.
Dust-Mite excrement: a trigger for....Asthma, Eczema & Allergic Nasal Inflammations
Allergen-containing dust-mite excrement on fibres: initially held together by a layer of slime, the faecal matter gradually falls apart into very tiny particles. The allergenic dust then flies up into the surrounding air and is inevitably inhaled as we breathe.
Warmth and humidity promote mould fungi. The aspergillus shown here (much enlarged) is capable of causing lung diseases. Millions of its spores in the surrounding air get into our lungs as we breathe. Regular cleaning of carpets, upholstery, rugs, mattresses, curtains and hard floors is therefore recommended to help prevent the above problems and symptoms.
